As the name portrays, Old Famous Jalebi Wala is one of the oldest sweet shops in the city. In operation since 1884, it has, gained recognition for its piping hot, crispy and sticky Jalebis (circular-shaped, deep-fried, wheat flour batter soaked in sugar syrup).
What adds a nourishing touch to these sweets is their preparation with pure desi ghee (clarified butter) and Khandsari sugar syrup rather than regular sugar. The amazing combination of rich and thick Rabri poured over sizzling hot Jalebis is also available here, making it a must-try for sweet enthusiasts.
