Hauz Khas Fort

Hauz Khas Fort

The Hauz Khas Fort, situated near the Hauz Khas Village is known for its amazing architecture. Once a majestic fort, all that remains of it are the ruins of the medieval era. The fort was constructed during the reign of Alauddin Khalji in the 13th century. The magnificent corridors of the Hauz Khas Complex offer a delightful view of the royal water tank, which was used to supply water to the inhabitants of the medieval city - Siri.

The complex houses an ancient mosque and madrasa that overlook the water tank. The lush green lawns neighbouring the restored lake attracts many photographers and makes it a perfect spot for family picnics.
