Indian Mountaineering Foundation

Indian Mountaineering Foundation

The Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) has been hailed as the apex national body for mountaineering in the country. It has been pivotal in supporting mountaineering in India and creating awareness about the Himalayas. Located uphill on the Benito Juarez Marg, New Delhi, its campus is home to a grand library-cum-reading-room, an auditorium, a canteen as well as the Tenzing Norgay Museum. Be it experienced climbers or first-timers, everyone is encouraged to come and train here. Its biggest attraction is a world-class sports climbing wall. For those who wish to get a reality check on their endurance levels while learning a new skill, this is the place to be.
