Yamuna Biodiversity Park is the first biodiversity park of its kind in India and preserves the vanishing flora and fauna of River Yamuna Basin. Visitors can see, at one go, a wide range of habitats that support rich riverine biodiversity. The wetlands attract 1000s of migratory birds in the winter months, while the riparian and marshes ecosystems, grassland and flood plain forest ecosystems harbour rich wildlife like Indian hare, jungle cat, nilgai, wild pigs, etc. Besides these natural ecosystems, the park also has a herbal garden, a conservatory of fruit plants, a butterfly conservatory, a climber grove, anda Nature Interpretation Centre that gives visitors the glimpses of biodiversity and its functions.
