A visual image and identity of Delhi Celebrates!, has been created with vibrant colours and strokes, reflecting the energy, dynamism and vibrancy of Delhi.

Guidelines

Some guidelines have been developed to streamline the Delhi Celebrates! campaign and ensure consistency in tone, voice and message to enhance the impact of the communication. In following these few simple rules we will be better equipped to present a single-minded, unified image of our City State and maximize its brand visibility.

Q. What are the official Delhi Celebrates! logos and how are they protected?

All of the official names, phrases, trademarks, logos and designs (collectively referred to as the Trade Marks) related to Delhi Celebrates! are protected by law in a variety of ways.

Q. Are there any specific colours for the Delhi Celebrates! logo?

The Delhi Celebrates! logo has been designed to retain its essential character and vibrance even with different colours in the background.

The different colours will ensure distinctiveness for the service provider and also promote a better sense of ownership of this logo which essentially will remain a property of the citizens of Delhi.

(a) Blue as background colour will be used only by
  • Government of NCT of Delhi
  • Government of India
  • Governments of all States and UTs and their Departments and Agencies.

Logo with blue background will represent all Government approved and organized activities, events etc. and can therefore only be used for those purposes.

(b) Any other colour as background colour can be used by anyone. However, it shall not connote or convey the approval of Government to the activity, event etc., in any form whatsoever.

Q. What is the text that can be used for this Logo?

The following text versions can be used before the word Celebrates
  • Delhi, in English
  • Dilli (in Hindi)
  • India
  • Names of all States and UTs e.g. Rajasthan Celebrates.

Q. How and where can it be used?

  • Office stationery
  • Banners
  • Flags
  • Hoardings
  • Advertisements (in all media posters)
  • T-Shirts
  • Caps
  • It can be added to existing advertisements, hoardings etc.,

Q. Are there any DO NOTs here?

The Delhi Celebrates! logo shall not be used for the following:-
  • All areas where advertisements or depiction of products etc. are prohibited by and for the Government eg. Liquor, drugs, tobacco etc.
  • nything that depicts any nation or any person, organization or group etc. in poor light.
  • Any thing that is abusive, exploitative, obscene or defamatory.
  • Anything that is negative or is promoting anything that can be considered negative or in bad taste.
  • Anything considered inappropriate.

The decision of a Committee comprising the Principal Secretary (Art & Culture) and Principal Secretary (Commonwealth Games) Government of Delhi in deciding whether any activity, event etc., falls under any one or more of the above, shall be final.
